“Survey #1: Ideas For Naming Our New Elementary School” Complete By September 27

In the fall of 2021, the Urbandale Community School District will open a new elementary school that is being built on the former Olmsted Elementary site. An important part of this project is to gather input from our families, staff, and community regarding the name of this new school. In addition to creating a Naming Committee, made up of students, staff, parents, and community members, we will be seeking input from all district stakeholders via online surveys.

We anticipate creating two online surveys as we seek initial ideas for a school name and then use the results to begin narrowing down options. Your feedback will help the Naming Committee prioritize options as we move through this process.

To that end, please take a few moments to complete this first survey which consists of two questions. Survey #1: Ideas For Naming Our New Elementary School is meant to gather initial ideas for possible names of the school. These results will serve to inform the work of the Naming Committee during the first committee meeting on October 3rd. This survey will be accepting responses until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019.

Thank you for taking a few moments to participate in the naming process. We look forward to receiving your feedback.
